Computer / Internet. This section contains the abbreviations and slang expressions connected with different parts of a computer as well as its functioning. Contractions. They are abbreviations in which some letters are missing and sometimes are replaced with punctuation marks. Typical examples of contractions are: I’m, isn’t, aren’t. In this section you can find e.g. APT, ATTN, AWSM, BRGDS, BTR, CMD, CMNT, DMG.

Initialisms. These are abbreviations consisting of the first letter or letters of word in a phrase e.g. ACTA, ADHD, ADL, AKA, AMOF, AOK, ADT, BFA.
Letters. This section includes the abbreviations which consist of separate letters e.g. ;D, A&F, B&M, B).
Numbers. The abbreviations presented in this part include numbers e.g. 111, 143, 212, 220.
Shortenings. These are abbreviations which start or finish with a few letters of the full word or expression e.g. AGGY, AWKY, BARBIE, BIZ, BRILL, CAMO, CIGGIE, CHEVY.
